Hey Ya’ll! No I’m not southern, but I love how that sounds sometimes. Anywho, let’s take a look at the other side of the bathroom. This was a fun renovation because we changed things up with the color scheme, hardware, and the floor tile, so here we go!
The shower tile was pretty similar to our last shower renovation, because we just couldn’t get away from the Carrara marble. We went with the style that doesn’t have as much shine to it, which has been a cleaning life saver! It’s a tad easier to keep clean, but still looks sleek and gorgeous.
Bathroom renovations are always pretty intricate and there are so many more things to think about than you originally plan. What I mean by that, is that the little things behind all the pretty things, yeah those eventually add up. We stayed on budget with this renovation, but there were a few adjustments we had to make along the way. But as AJ always says, better to do it the right way than the easy way.
Today’s post is more to show you how the other side of the bathroom is looking, but depending how things go with other projects we have I’ll get AJ’s input on the details! He’s been a busy man between table projects and other projects with the house, so his time is precious!
So here it is folks…the other side of the bathroom renovation!
I’m still so in love with how our bathroom turned out and I’m just so proud of it! It’s honestly hard to believe that this is our bathroom, but AJ has been able to make a lot of my home inspirations a reality throughout our home.
Since we were going with the bright and white look with touches of wood, I wanted to get some wood color roman shades for the window to match. It’s a change up from the rest of the house with the simple white shades, but I’m so happy we chose the ones we did. I’ve linked them below, and yes its a more taupe/gray color.
Bathrooms can be such a fun renovation because you can really do a lot with them outside of just some paint and flooring. You can use a lot of different textures, colors, and styles within one little room. We definitely took advantage of this, and you guys, it really was within a reasonable price range. Now don’t get me wrong, a huge cost to bathroom renovations is the actual labor and we saved a lot wit AJ doing most of the work. I’m a lucky gal to have someone who can do this all!
So you guys have to tell me, what has been your favorite renovation or the biggest change you made in your home? I would love to hear more about what you guys are doing and styles you’ve decided on! As always, thank you for reading along with me!
